BYPASS Statement

Puts/releases a device in the scanchain into BYPASS

BYPASS <DeviceName>,<Mode>

Arguments

DeviceName

        Alias Name/Device Name of the device in the chain

Mode

       TRUE/FALSE. TRUE indicates that the device should be placed into bypass mode

Remarks

Setting Mode to FALSE puts the device in EXTEST Mode. The DeviceName should be the Alias name of the device defined in the Chain command to accomodate mode than one device of the same type. If the DeviceName is used, the first device of that type is selected. SAMPLE, BYPASS and EXTEST are are JTAG modes defined in the IEEE1149.1 Specification.
